Our projects focus on solving banking-related problems, gathering requirements, and organizing business processes, almost always with an IT connection, of course.
This includes, for example, system integrations, the development of applications, or the digitalization of business processes.
We support these projects from the formulation of the high-level requirements, through the design and implementation, and to the go-live of the new solution.
We specialize in implementation projects, which means that we support our customers with their projects throughout the entire process, from proof-of-concept to go-live. Project duration varies depending on the topic and complexity. However, the classic project cycles such as requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and roll-out of the new solution are common to most of our projects.
The decisive factor is that firstwaters does not deliver solutions on paper. Our projects are only completed when the new solution is successfully completed and goes live.
firstwaters is not divided into separate departments with different focuses - although we develop individual areas of focus over time. To constantly expand our spectrum and share knowledge effectively, we deliberately deploy our consultants in different subject areas and activities. As our clients' requirements are constantly changing, our focus areas must be dynamic and varied.
No, there is no regional assignment at firstwaters. We apply the principle of free choice of residence and accordingly all our colleagues are spread throughout Germany and Austria. There is no “firstwaters Frankfurt” or “firstwaters Munich”, we are all one team and one company.
Your onboarding at firstwaters can look very different depending on your background, experience, skills, and area of work. In any case, we will prepare you for your first project assignment within your first weeks with a mixture of hands-on workshops and online courses.
The content of this onboarding ranges from background knowledge and technical skills to project methodology content - always tailored to your individual needs.
As soon as you are well prepared and the opportunity arises, you will start your first project assignment as part of an experienced firstwaters team.
We encourage and challenge you from day one and support you in your methodical, professional, and personal development.
As a consultant at firstwaters, you will always start with personal responsibility as part of a team. Over time, you will be given responsibility for your own subject areas and develop into a Senior Consultant.
The other possible development opportunities are diverse and depend above all on your wishes. Whether you see yourself as a manager with leadership responsibilities or as a specialist in certain areas - all doors are open to you! You can also take responsibility for certain internal topics, such as the development of young colleagues, or the development of specialist topics.
Our working hours are flexible and are also based on the needs and business hours of the respective client. We attach great importance to results-oriented work so that our employees can complete their tasks efficiently and independently. It is important to us that each of our team members enjoys their work in the long term and can find a healthy work-life balance.
Absolutely! We support our employees with flexible working hours and sabbaticals. The balance between career and family is very important to us.
