Kleine Helden from Munich is committed to helping chronically ill and disabled children and their families. They offer care-assisted stays in the picturesque foothills of the Alps that are specially tailored to the children's needs. Accompanied stays

Kleine Helden organizes accompanied stays for chronically ill and disabled children and their families. The focus is primarily on children with unusual and less well-known illnesses.

Farm vacation at the Chiemsee

The Irmengard farm on Lake Chiemsee, which has been redesigned to meet the needs of children, is the location for the stays. The highlights: An animal enclosure, a playground, swimming area by the lake and the beautiful Alpine foothills.

Care and support

The Kleine Helden team consists of trained pediatric nurses and volunteers who look after the children during their stay. This also relieves the burden on the children's parents and families.

Excursions and activities

In addition to individual care and support, Kleine Helden also offers children and their siblings a variety of leisure activities during their stay, creating unforgettable experiences away from everyday life.

Kinderhilfestiftung Frankfurt supports children and young people with disabilities or rare diseases to lead as self-determined a life as possible. The foundation helps families by providing aids and therapies that would otherwise often remain inaccessible, and creates important opportunities for participation and personal development through leisure and support programs. Its focus is on recognizing individual needs and providing targeted support in order to achieve lasting improvements in the everyday lives of those affected.

Help in everday life

Many children are dependent on customized stair lifts, wheelchairs and car conversions to help them cope with everyday life. The Children's Aid Foundation supports families in financing these and other everyday aids.

Therapy and Advice

Rare metabolic diseases such as MPS are often not treated appropriately.
Kinderhilfestiftung regularly sponsors therapy weeks that offer affected children individual treatment and advice.

Medical Equipment

Kinderhilfestiftung supports hospitals in financing special technical equipment that can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in children and adolescents.

Recreational activities

Kinderhilfestiftung supports special sports activities such as circus classes, wheelchair basketball and much more. These give people with disabilities the opportunity to live out their passions and pursue their ambitions. 

Kleine Herzen from Vienna is committed to giving disadvantaged children around the world a better future. In Ukraine the organization supports evacuated orphans with education and care, while in Cambodia children's aid centers are being set up to ensure education, nutrition and safety. Through medical care and sponsorships, the organization ensures that the aid arrives exactly where it is most urgently needed.

Education and Care

At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Kleine Herzen evacuated an orphanage with 53 small children and relocated it to Austria. In order to offer the children a future, the team also makes it possible for them to go to kindergarten and school.

Health

Kleine Herzen ensures that the children in their care receive a full health check-up and treatment. To this end, they work together with other charitable organizations and medical professionals 

Children's aid centers

Due to great poverty, a lack of infrastructure and an inadequate education system, many children in Cambodia do not have bright prospects for the future. Kleine Herzen is co-operating with two children's centers to improve this situation.

Child sponsorships

In the centers in Cambodia, children and young people are cared for, fed and educated who would otherwise not have the opportunity to do so. With sponsorships, Kleine Herzen ensures that the help arrives exactly where it is needed.
